Lapis Lazuli is a fascinating deep blue stone. It is considered one of the most popular stones in the fields of jewelry and lithotherapy.


Lapis Lazuli are two Latin words that mean azure stone. This stone, used since 7000 BC. JC, was found in the form of beads, daggers and amulets. In the Mesopotamian period, Lapis Lazuli was more prized than gold itself. For the time, it would be considered our current diamond.


Lapis Lazuli is a metamorphic rock, its composition varies according to its origin and the conditions in which it evolved. It is mainly composed of lazurite, an element that brings this deep blue. The veins of pyrite give it this golden aspect, sometimes confused with gold dust. Its hardness is 5.5 on the Mohs scale and a density of 2.8.


The virtues of this stone are numerous, both for the body and for the mind. This stone brings balance, regulation and repair.
