Amazonite
Amazonite is a deep green stone, sometimes confused with one of the most precious green stones, the emerald. Cut for the most beautiful Egyptian pieces, amazonite remains timeless despite its passage through the ages.
Origin
Amazonite takes its name from a South American region saturated with humidity, its first source is in a much more arid region, the Sahara desert. Extracted mainly in Libya, this stone has often been confused with emerald or turquoise, its slight silver reflections are its main difference.
Composition
Amazonite belongs to the group of potassium feldspars. It contains silica, iron oxides and lime. Its hardness is around 6.5 on the Mohs scale.

The virtues of this stone are numerous, both for the body and for the mind. It is even considered one of the most virtuous stones.
